Listening Deeply

For hundreds of years, humans have sought to organize and legislate our behaviour. Laws were written, and a global order was established. We have mostly accepted living in a world organized for us.

In the last few years though, it feels as if the structures we have trusted are not quite what they once were. And if the old ways are no longer stable, how do we find a grounding place from which to move? 

A friend told me the Earth is astrologically moving into the age of Aquarius. It is said to be an era where humans will no longer live by rules set by institutions, but by our own personal authority.  Yes, in this era, we will know how to conduct ourselves, not by adhering to the rules of governments and organizations, but by listening to what we know to be true inside of us. 

The new way will no longer be about the traditional ways we find comfort, security and success, it will require each of us knowing what we deeply value. These values will not come from an outside entity or the patterned ways we have learned to live; we will find these deeper values have been with us since we entered this world. 

As we listen to what is important to us at a deeper level, we find we do know what brings us love, we know that brings us joy and we know what is right.  And as we watch the old institutions breakdown, this inner wisdom knows what is needed now. 

My Work is More Important than Ever

Is it time for us to clear away the layers of residue that we have built up adhering to fixed roles and broken expectations?  

As we move into this new time of upheaval, we may find that it is not only important for us to listen to our inner wisdom, it will be essential
.
The new world order requires us to know and share our truth.
